Bishop’s High School, Tobago, recently celebrated its centennial anniversary with an awards ceremony at the Shaw Park Cultural Complex. The event highlighted the school’s legacy of excellence and its impact on the region, as noted by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley in her address. She praised the school’s educators for instilling a desire to excel beyond the island’s confines, citing distinguished alumni like former prime ministers Dr. Keith Rowley and ANR Robinson.

The ceremony honored 100 outstanding Bishopians, including THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine and Chief Justice Ivor Archie, for their contributions in various fields. The centennial celebrations also featured a concert showcasing alumni talent and a visual arts exhibition, underscoring the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity.

Speakers at the event, including Allan Richards and Zelma Cowie, emphasized the school’s role as a beacon of leadership and service.
