The BHS Centennial Committee, a non-profit organization charged with the responsibility of organizing a series of events in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Bishop’s High School, Tobago, announced today that the official draw for the BHS Centennial Raffle which features the grand first prize of a 2025 Luxury SUV has been extended.
Originally scheduled for Friday 19th December 2025, the winning tickets will now be drawn on Thursday 30th April 2026. This extension provides an exciting opportunity for more persons in the local and international community to participate, and increases the total fundraising potential to support upgrades to the school’s facilities. The draw will also now coincide with the launch of the school’s Hall of Fame Project providing the perfect backdrop.
According to Committee Chairman, Zelma Cowie, “The decision to extend the draw date to 30th April 2026 was made to ensure we reach our ambitious fundraising goal. By extending the timeline, the BHS Centennial Committee aims to maximize the impact of the proceeds, ensuring that our project receives the full support it requires.”
The BHS Centennial Committee wishes to assure the public that all tickets already purchased remain fully valid and will be automatically entered into the 30th April 2026 draw. The Committee assures the public that the collection of prizes, headlined by a first prize SUV, is well over $250,000, and includes an array of exceptional prizes such as Caribbean Airlines travel tickets, luxury Tobago staycations, iPhones, a laptop, an Amazon gift card and more.
Tickets will remain available for purchase through 24th April 2026. The raffle will be drawn live on Thursday 30th April 2026, marking the start of one lucky winner’s new life behind the steering wheel of a spanking new SUV.
