BHS CENTENNIAL RAFFLE 2025 TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Official Name of the Raffle and Organizer

This raffle is officially titled the BHS Centennial Raffle 2025 and is organized and administered by Bishop’s High School (BHS) Tobago Centennial Committee (“the Organizer”). All proceeds support the Bishop’s High School Centennial celebrations and related initiatives.”

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • Tickets are valid only for citizens and/or residents of Trinidad and Tobago, aged 18 or older, where raffle participation is legally permitted.
  • Tickets are void where prohibited by law.

3. How to Enter/Purchase Tickets

  • Each raffle chance costs TTD $100.
  • Tickets may be purchased as follows:
    • Online at Island eTickets (www.islandetickets.com)
    • Centennial office at Bishop’s High School, Tobago, Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm.
    • Centennial events published at www.bishopstobago100.com
    • Select authorized retail outlets listed on our website at www.bishopstobago100.com
    • Select members of the Centennial Committee and designated volunteers:
      • Raffle tickets may only be purchased from designated members and volunteers of the BHS Centennial Committee, who are authorized to sell tickets directly to the public. Each authorized seller will provide participants with an official numbered ticket upon purchase. 
      • The Organizer is not responsible for tickets purchased from any unauthorized sellers or third parties. Such tickets will be considered invalid and will not be entered into the draw.
      • A list of authorized sellers may be obtained by contacting the Centennial Office or visiting the official Centennial website.
  • There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase.
  • Upon payment, participants will receive an official numbered ticket. Ticket numbers are tracked and recorded by the Organizer.
  • *All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Prizes

  • The raffle features 10 prizes valued at over TTD $200,000, including: 
  • 1st Prize: Brand-new SUV
  • 2nd Prize: Airline tickets for 2 to Miami
  • 3rd Prize: Airline tickets for 2 to Curaçao
  • 4th Prize: Staycation package for 2 in Tobago
  • 5th Prize: An iPhone 16 Plus
  • 6th Prize: A 15″ Lenovo Laptop Computer
  • 7th Prize: An iPhone 15
  • 8th Prize: A 75″ Samsung Smart Television set
  • 9th Prize: An Amazon Gift Card valued at $500.00 USD
  • 10th Prize: A Grocery voucher valued at $2000.00
  • In the event a listed prize becomes unavailable, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute it with an item of equal or greater value.
  • Winners must provide valid government-issued identification to claim prizes.
  • Travel-related prizes (airline tickets, staycations) are subject to availability, blackout dates, and terms of the provider. Expiration dates, if applicable, will be communicated to winners.
  • Vehicle Prize Conditions:
  • The 1st Prize is a brand-new SUV
  • Promotional images of the vehicle are for illustrative purposes only. The model, colour, trim, and specific features of the vehicle awarded may vary from those shown in promotional materials, depending on availability at the time the prize is collected. The Organizer does not guarantee a specific model, colour or configuration.

5. Draw Details

  • The raffle draw will take place on Friday, 19th December 2025.  The location of the draw will be announced at a later date.
  • The draw will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner using a manual draw system, overseen by the Organizer and Centennial Raffle Committee.

6. Winner Notification

  • Winners will be contacted via phone and/or email within 7 business days of the draw.
  • Winners will also be announced publicly on the official Centennial website and social media channels.
  • Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. Failure to claim within this period will result in prize forfeiture and the Organizer may, at its discretion, conduct a re-draw.

7. Publicity and Privacy

  • By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
  • Personal data collected will be used solely for administering the raffle and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

8. Permits and Legal Compliance

  • This raffle is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of Trinidad and Tobago, including those relating to charitable gaming and lottery operations.
  • Any required approvals or licenses from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Finance and the Trinidad & Tobago Police Services have been obtained.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The Organizer is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, or incomplete entries.
  • The Organizer makes no warranties regarding prizes and is not liable for any issues arising from use or enjoyment of the prizes.
  • The Organizer does not hold itself responsible or liable for providing motor vehicle insurance for the winner of the first prize. The Organizer shall only be liable for procuring limited liability insurance for the vehicle for promotional purposes by the Organizer.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from this raffle will be resolved by the Organizer in its sole discretion. The Organizer’s decision shall be final and binding.

11. Tax Implications

  • Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, fees, or other costs associated with claiming and using their prizes, as required under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

12. Sponsor Recognition

  • The Organizer gratefully acknowledges the support of sponsors including Caribbean Airlines and Comfort Inn & Suites, among others.
